30s Summary
PR agency, PR London Live, has claimed it will unveil the identity of elusive Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto at a press conference in London on October 31. However, inconsistencies including suspicious website content, a company address leading to empty farmland, and an absence of the event on the supposed venue’s listings, cast doubt over the statement’s credibility. The firm’s CEO, Charles Anderson, supposedly Nakamoto’s business partner since 2017, has not responded to queries.

So, there’s this random PR agency claiming to know the real person behind the Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. They’re promising to spill the beans at a press conference on October 31st in London. They’re inviting everyone to “Meet Satoshi.”
But, this whole thing looks a bit dodgy.
On October 30th, the agency known as PR London Live said they would disclose the “legal identity” of Nakamoto at the Frontline Club in Paddington, London, on the promised date.
Their event description is full of errors. It says, “the experiment is done. Although it didn’t go as planned, it was a big success overall. There’s lots to tell, and some of it might shock you.”
The real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has been a huge mystery in the crypto world since he vanished in 2011.
In their press release, Nakamoto supposedly states, “The time has come to officially reveal my identity.”
Get this though, there’s a “Meet Satoshi” group on MeetUp with only 103 members, even though it was created over 2 years ago.
So, who’s running PR London Live? Good question.
They define themselves as “London’s PR Media platform” supplying “genuine, significant content.” Yet, they fail to mention a single client or partner on their website.
According to their official webpage, Charles Anderson is the CEO, content manager, and only person in the world who apparently knows Satoshi Nakamoto’s true identity.
Anderson claims to have been Nakamoto’s business partner, personal assistant, as well as media and legal manager since October 2017, and has supposedly been planning this whole “Big Reveal” for the past five years.
His webpage is a bit of a mess though, full of spelling and grammatical errors, and dodgy links. Some parts have even been flagged when tested for AI detection.
Sockingly, the firm’s registered address on Google Maps Street View is just an empty plot of farmland.
Information surrounding the reveal isn’t consistent between the website and the press announcement either.
The press release itself got a 100% score on AI-detector GPTZero, who’s “highly confident” it’s AI-generated.
The plot seems to thicken as the Frontline Club, where the meet-up is meant to happen, doesn’t have any Satoshi-related events listed on their own website for Oct. 31, or any day after it. Attempts to contact Anderson have so far been ignored.
Despite all these red flags, the firm’s supposed big announcement is set to happen on October 31, which also happens to be the sixteenth anniversary of the Bitcoin Whitepaper – the document that first proposed the concept of Bitcoin. Coincidence? Well, who knows…
