Injective and Sonic are creating the Smart Agent Hub, a platform that blends blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI). This means that AI tools built on Sonic can get involved in the Injective ecosystem, and developers can make money from their AI tools.
They plan to roll out the Smart Agent Hub test version in early 2025 with complete integration happening in parts over several months. When running, developers on Injective can launch AI applications with a Remote Procedure Call.
The hub will connect the Injective blockchain directly with Sonic, plus make a pathway for transferring Sonic and Injective tokens.
Earlier, Injective came up with its iAgent software kit, which utilizes OpenAI technology in AI agents that can study data, anticipate trends, and perform trades.
Injective notes that AI agents have a lot of potentials. They reference its $11.2 billion market cap, even with decentralized finance and stablecoin boasting a bigger presence in the market.
Injective and Sonic aren’t the only ones seeing the potential in this field as cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has been offering its Based Agent AI tool since last October.
Near Protocols’s trading tool, Near Intents, is currently being tested out, while Story Protocol has come up with an experimental framework that lets AI agents trade intellectual property.
